United Nation Syria Chemical Weapons Banned

On Tuesday, President Obama addressed the United Nations General Assembly urging for”….greater international action on Syria's ongoing civil war…..”   The United States of America is not the world police.  What occurred in Syria was a crime against humanity and a threat to national security.  The international community should be upset about what happened to the Syrian people.  Approximately 1,429 people died of which 426 were children. There needs to be a ban on chemical weapons and the United Nations should be the enforcer.  “The evidence is overwhelming that the Assad regime used such weapons on August 21st. U.N. inspectors gave a clear accounting that advanced rockets fired large quantities of sarin gas at civilians. These rockets were fired from a regime-controlled neighborhood and landed in opposition neighborhoods.”  If the United States attacking Syria is not an option then placing economic sanctions and placing Syria’s weapons under international control and destroying them should be enforced and supported by the United Nations. Russia and China are against any United Nations penalty on Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.   Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is getting away with murder against his own people!!!!!!!!!
